A stroke survivor living in Florida & working at getting back to being "me". I write for me because if I don't, the top of my head may just blow off from all the pressure in the there! It will never win any awards but it's enough to amuse me & that's all that matters.

Poor Buddha Tiger

My poor KC. She's in her golden years as my husband says that she is supposed to be relaxing & enjoying her golden years. Lazing around in rays of sunshine, snuggling up in laps & being loved on. Peaceful. Content. Quiet. Not so! Instead, my poor buddha tiger has found herself in a freaking kitty college frat house! The three other youngsters in the house find it necessary to run by her at all hours & pounce on her or follow her & beat on my poor fat tiger cat! She just wants to be left alone! She is the only one of the four with front claws & she doesn't even use those needle like daggers on the three upstarts! She should. We left her clawed in hopes of leveling the p;aying field. That & she doesn't tear anything up. She is such a sweet cat. yes she is over weight. I know this. She knows this. But even on weight preventative food & with the three hooligans chasing her between the rooms, she still gains like a hippo. I think it is a thyroid issue. Or a food issue. You know, she eats to comfort herself over the problems the others give her.
She sleeps curled up in my arms at night. Out of protection for herself. Mocha stalks her the most ruthlessly, pummeling her every chance Mocha gets. Sylvia paws at her & Paulie thuimps her at times. But it's mocha that makes poor KC the most miserable. My poor sweet tiger baby. She just wants to relax & enjoy herself these days. And yet finds herself living among the proverbial kegger throwing frat cats!

she's such a luv. She put up with Wahoo & kums as puppies, dealt with the ex's kid, getting to know my two older cats, but man these three are brutal to her!
